Summer Holiday 2011.......

So we are now back and I would love to say unpacked......but Im not. The weather had been horrible so no time to do all the washing and to be honest I have been too lazy. But today Im setting aside the day to unpack the last little bit.

We had a fantastic time away. The kids LOVED the beach and having both parents around to boss, plus a favorite Aunty, Uncle and their little girl.

The weather was good about 50% of the time and wet or grey clouds the rest, but we still managed to spend lots of time outside. Miss 2 learnt how to ride her bike, we went swimming, played at the park, played soccer, did a bush walk, lots of sleeping / resting in the afternoons, reading, eating far too much including Ice creams and over all a lot of fun. 

Now to start unpacking properly. But for now here are a few photos of our lovely week away.

 Slightly smaller as it was about 1/4 eaten - but this was the single cone at the local Dairy. So much ice cream, but so good.

 The View from Opito Bay - lovely beach and I would love to go back again on a very hot and sunny day, not an over cast one. but it was still lovely.
