Miss 2 wanted a gingerbread man theme - and when searching for ideas on the net I could only find Christmas related photos and posts. In the end it all came together nicely and we had one very spoiled happy little girl.
The cutest part about her party was when Miss 2 decided she would sing happy birthday along with everyone else to her self, clap then pull out the candle and cut the cake. She was so confident about it all and had the cutes look of delight and excitement. She is a girl that the highlight of a birthday is the cake and candle not the presents. Due to this I made sure she got the cake of her dreams.....we had many nights searching google and looking at cakes for her party.
Doily bunting
Lanterns hanging for the tree (we also had them inside in the lounge) at the end of the deck we had a little kids table set up with gingerbread and chocolate play dough for the kids and Big kids (parents) to play with.
Cupcake tower.
Gingerbread house - Miss 2 had lots of fun helping to make this
Some of the party food
Lots of little gingerbread men and little cookie houses.
Birthday cake. Miss 2 wanted 3 layer cake. I wonder if it had anything to do with turning 3 years old :)
Table all ready to decorate gingerbread men.
Miss 2 decorating her gingerbread man.
Miss 2's Gingerbread man. Love the belly button :)
Take home gift - chocolate and gingerbread play dough. I found this awesome idea here. Changed the colour to fit the theme and printed the labels in B&W so it fitted with the bright colour theme.
For a theme I was a little unsure about I think it all came together nicely.....lets hope it is a while before I have to make any more gingerbread men :)

It came together beautifully! What an amazing party!
