Miss 2 is finally a big 3 year old.

We had an interesting start to the morning with her crying. she didn't want to be awake - even though it was 7.45. She is not one that copes well with being woken up.......But after a few tears she finally agreed with me that it was her birthday (she has been telling me for the past few days that it is not her birthday as she all ready had it so it must be mums, dad's, brothers or her bubba's.....) we walked into the play room and her tears instantly turned into smiles and giggles of laughter as she saw her little kitchen.
I had loaded it up with all her pretend food and kitchen utensils and pots that she all ready owned so it was ready to play with. I had also hidden little presents in the cupboards so she got a few little things that were wrapped (an apron, a few things for her to do the dishes, some cereal, a box of brownie mix, a watch and an ABC game)

WOW...........heheh her littler brother wants to be just like her and he was just as excited.

Straight into cleaning the dishes and cooking up a storm.

Yum brownie - now she can make her very own baking with no help from mummy.

Making her own breakfast.....out of all the flavours of little cereal packets she chose sultana bran over cocoa pops? what was she thinking.

pouring the milk. it was too cute to watch. She then went and sat at her little table to eat her breakfast with her babies :)

Out for coffee with some birthday money and her favorite Aunty and cousin. She went up to the counter and ordered by her self....."can I have a fluffy and chocolate spoon please".

After a lovely morning out having coffee it was a quick lunch and off to Kindy for the afternoon while mummy rested :)
After Kindy she came home to mail and a few parcels in the letter box....Exciting. We then had an afternoon tea that she served up.....dry coco pops on a plate that we had to eat with a fork and knife (yes that is as challenging to eat as it sounds). I'm pleased i could convince her to give us coco pops and not dry "Just Right" like she wanted to give dish up :)
Shortly after we picked up daddy and went to get takeaways for dinner (in our house on your birthday you get to pick the dinner).
So all in all a very successful day and a very very spoiled 3 year old.
