Celebration Dinner

I got an awesome email yesterday afternoon from my husband. He emailed to let me know that all the late nights, hard work and stress of writing up his teaching portfolio and making sure that his lectures were written just right had paid off.
He won the Science and Engineering Teaching Excellence Awards for 2011.

I am so excited for him that all his hard work has paid off and he finally gets some recognition for it.

So to celebrate we made an impromptu surprise dinner with lasagne, garlic bread, a yummy salad and cake and lollies for dessert to celebrate. We even had L&P in wine glasses for the kiddies......Miss3 thought she was very special.
Was a lovely dinner by candle light and nice to sit and celebrate Dad's success with the whole family.
