Safari Creations.

So Mr1 is turning two in nearly 2 months time.
With it being so close to the busy season Im starting his birthday planning.
We have decided to get the kids one big Christmas present from Santa this year and because it is so big I have decided to try and make most of Mr1's presents simply because he has lots of extended family that spoil him rotten and I have so many ideas of things I would love to make him that he would just adore.

First thing I completed the other day was this cute little shoulder bag to house his African animals. It is a super easy and cute bag to make. Luckily I had enough material in the scrap box so I didn't have to buy anything.

Inside the bag is this cute little safari mat for him to play with his tigers.

He just loves African animals so we are going to buy a few more plastic animals to make the set complete. I know the fish are not quite fitting with the whole safari setting - but he also loves goldfish so I added in a few fish buttons to the water to make it a bit more interesting. He is going to love this. At the moment his tigers like to drink from ponds and eat from grass an hide under trees that his sister draws for him on paper so hopefully this is as much of a hit as his sisters creations.

Hopefully this weekend I can start making his second gift using some cool camo material that I have had waiting since I was pregnant with him to be turned into something fun for a little boy.
