When we woke on Tuesday morning we heard "oh my presents, my happy birthday......YAY".
All of his goodies. He was one spoilt boy. My parents gave him a train set. His big sister gave him a ball and mummy and daddy made him the ten, safari park, and we got him a few little bits over the year like the Lego light, a wheel barrow, Remote fire truck, some fish to catch and a couple of Thomas trains. And best of all he was seeing his reaction as he opened all of them.
He was a little shell shocked but got into the swing of things very quickly. By the end of the week (we had his party in the weekend) he was saying thank you to people for his present and very carefully opened them all.
Here are a few photos of his special day and Gold fish party......
Big sister wanted to make Mr2 a blue fish pond cake. With a bit of help from mum here is her creation. I was very impressed when she picked the cake tin she did. It is a silver mixing bowl but she said it looked more like a pond so would make a better cake - which it did. She is going to be a great cake maker as she gets older.
The master piece.
Mr2's party Birthday cake. He was so in love with his cake that I was not aloud to put it in the fridge while he stared at it for hours the day before.
My first attempt at cake pops.
Mmmm lots of fish party food.
Mini fish cupcakes.
Fish in Jelly.
Take home gift. Real fruit Marine (I would call them lollies, but they are from the snack isle in the supermarket) Bubbles with a gold fish attached, some goldfish stickers and a plastic fish.
Party game - fishing in the bath (Due to weather we had to keep the party in doors)
Excited little boy. So happy to see his cake and have everyone sing Happy Birthday to him. I loved how he started singing happy Birthday to him self. Funny boy. then he gave him self a big clap.
Over all a very successful birthday (even if he was sick the poor little man) and a lovely little party with his special little friends. He has had a fantastic week.
