Yeasterday we were lucky enough to watch the amazing transformation of one of our catterpillars turning into a cocoon.
It happened so quickly we didn't want to miss it to find the camera so if you are interested watch this cilp. It is amazing how it all works. Miss3 was fascinated by the whole process....but didn't like the look of the skin coming off.
We now have 4 cocoon’s, 2 about to turn into a cocoon sometime today and another 9 still munching away on the plants. They were super happy yesterday when we bought inside another plant for them to munch on. So hopefully we will have some more fat caterpillars ready to transform any day now.
