Rainy day holiday baking.

What is with this weather.......... Where is summer?
It feels like it has rained non stop for weeks. The kids are getting a little bit of cabin fever as there is only so much you can do on rainy days both at home at out and about.

So today we hit the supermarket to buy some more essentials (banana's for Mr1 who would eat 10 a day if I let him and some more milk) while we were there we decided to find some fun things to bake. So picked up the ingredients to make Lolly Cake. I have been Promising Miss3 for a while that we would make it.

Miss3 and Aunty Em (my lovely live in baby sitter for the next week - YAY for younger sisters) made Lolly cake this afternoon and I have to say it was a very easy thing for little ones to make and it tastes so good.
