2012 is going to be a year of Appreciation.
I am so grateful for my little family, for the joy they bring and the delight I get in watching them grow. With Mr2 turning 2 I realised that my kids are growing up fast. Next year Miss3 will start school and for me that is a biggie. My little girl, my baby is going to be a school girl. So this year I want to appreciate the kids while they are so little and appreciate this time I have with them as they grow so fast. I wish I could capture the preschool years in a bottle and never let them go.
I want to appreciate all that God has provided for our family, for the blessings he has placed in our house and for the long term plan he has for my life and my family. I look forward to seeing what 2012 has in store for the family.
Aside for embracing Appreciation and slowing life down a little I do have a couple of "Goals" for the year.
Physical - I would like to find time to fit in exercise.
Emotional - take each day as it comes. Hopefully this year will be a relaxing year in terms of stress levels and learning to accept help, support and how to live in an untidy house :) Washing can wait until tomorrow to get folded or until the pile has been used up. Toys can be picked up later and not right now. And people can see the mess - it is normal to have kids and an untidy house......Don't stress about it.
Family - ensure I have more quality one on one time with the kids and the husband, but also as a family unit.
Spiritual - Trust.....to do so I really need to make sure I do some more bible readings and pray on a regular basis.
Social - Make sure I spend quality time with friends. Some child free, others with the kids, others with the entire family. To make sure that no matter what I am there for my close friends.
these "goals" are all ongoing, just need a little work on them to make it more achievable. I do however have one real "goal". It is a biggie and possibly not the most achievable. But time will tell.
My one and only real Goal for the year is to attempt a VBA2C in a few months time (you can follow my story and Journey here).
Other than that I would like 2012 to be filled with all things family, friends and surround us in a life that is filled with Hope, Trust and in his word.
A week into 2012 and I am ready to embrace what 2012 has to throw my way.
